Clinton Township Payment & Insurance Options
Clinton Township dentist Carl Piontkowski currently accepts most traditional insurance plans, but please feel free to contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. We will accept payments by personal check, cash or credit cards, although we do not work with Health Management Organizations (HMOs).
If needed, we offer patients flexible payment plans. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are also happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.
As a courtesy, we will bill your dental insurance provider directly. Please keep in mind, however, that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. Since we are not an involved party with this contract, you are responsible for any non-payment on our account. We also require that all co-pays and deductibles be paid at the time of service.
Please take the time to read through your insurance benefit information so that you are familiar with all of your policy’s benefits and limitations. We also encourage you to contact your insurance company if you have questions about whether a service is a covered benefit, keeping in mind that they will never guarantee payment.
We normally wait 45 days for your insurance company to provide payment for services. If after the 45-day period there is still non-payment, the balance on the account will be billed to you.
Please remember to let us know at the beginning of each visit if there are any updates or changes to your insurance policy and or your employment status so that we can assist you in maximizing your benefits.
